19s on a GEN III LIBERTY

  Top of Page

Hey, i just got my 2001 gen3 liberty and i'm not too sure whether i want 18s or 19s.. i would love 19s, because they fill the arches perfectly on a GENIII but i wanted to know if i'd have to roll the arches and put hard springs in to avoid rubbing.. and if anyone knows about prices for low hard springs and how much it is to roll the arches, i'd appreciate it..

this is what i've got in mind...

Don't do it, it looks horrid. nothing wrong with a bit of rubber on your wheels to fill the arches just the same.

depends what you want out of your car as to rim size. my last one had 20's and superlows although the ride was s**t on anything less than smooth roads. i much prefer the ride out of the 17's for everyday. as for lowering, give suspension city in north melbourne a call. they'll sort you out. arches rolled are about $25 a guard

yeah i can imagine 20s being a very hard ride, but i dont plan on going safari or rallying anytime soon so it should be okay. id have to get 225x30x19 if i wanted 19s wouldnt i?
