Up for sale is this tidy 1990 Subaru Liberty.

Firstly, all the details excluding engine -
Interior is mint.
Tinting is a custom job and also mint condition.
Body is straight.
Wheels are 18" with plenty of tread. Some gutter rash but mostly pretty good. Only except is rear right wheel which is a bit nasty and a bit bent (see photo).
Suspension is lowered and tight. This thing hooks through corners!
Car has had re-spray, paint is pretty good, though could use some touch ups.
Gearbox recently replaced.
New clutch.

Now, the engine. I purchased the engine from a guy in this forum. The histoy is that it's an EJ20 turbo engine that had been converted into a 1990 Liberty a few years back by Autocraft. The engine was a Legacy import engine, and at the time I pulled it out had done 120000km (with timing belt change 20000km ago). I acquired the engine, wiring and ECU (I bought it from this guy, who included the original ad in his post - http://www.ozliberty.com/home/forum/top … =1#p209964). A friend of mine agreed to help and I was paying him for the work, but he basically got the engine in and hooked it up to the gearbox, and then couldn't do any more work. I've asked around to find someone to finish the work but just have no time or money to continue this project. So to finish the job, and be able to get it engineered and registered, I foresee you'd have to do the following:
Pull the wiring harness and ecu out of the car and replace with turbo wiring harness and ecu (supplied). Theoretically it should hook up fine, according to all my sources.
Hook up the intercooler and all piping associated (supplied).
Bolt on the dump pipe and then get a flange welded onto the existing exhaust system (dump pipe supplied).
You might need to upgrade the brakes, though I'm not 100% sure.

As I said, I just don't have any time to spend worrying about this project, and I'm also looking at going overseas soon so need to clear out all my extra baggage and get my finances sorted.

Price: $2500ono. I'm not 100% sure what it's worth, but I do know what I've paid so far and I know what I'd like to get for it And also, as an option, I'm willing to sell for less without the wheels. So, make an offer. If it's looking like I won't get a lot for it, I'll either part it out, or hold on to it and maybe go back to an original EJ22 NA motor swap and sell off the turbo engine setup.
