He actually did go out of his way to do this on a non public venue - sadly that credit was null and void by having four other people in his fathers 500Hp BMW.

To be completely fair we have no idea what he did to get hold of the keys on that particular night.

That link should be made a sticky, for all n00bs wanting to make their GX's go faster with pod filters and exhausts.

ugh i feel sick, rather ironic that he said he would never put anyone else's life in danger tho.

So it was probably pushing out some serious power with the tune and exhaust then?

thats quite eerie reading that thread and the associated links.

too much power, too young and inexperienced.

Something similar happened to a young guy in Perth about 15yrs ago, Rich daddy buys his son a brand new turbo RX7 for his 17th birthday & he was dead by midnight, he was having a drag up Fitzgerald St with a GT Falcon & lost control going straight through the Shell servo at Walcott St, there are lessons to be learned.

He did say it was his car didnt he? If so why doesnt America have restrictions to stop young and inexperience drivers??

He shouldnt of been drinking and he shouldnt of been driving such a powerful car.

I too feel sorry for the kids and the parents of the kids who were the passengers.

Thats sad and scary stuff....

But on the other hand all the kids in the car most probably got in willingly....its just a positive that they didnt do it somewhere where they could have killed innocent people as well....still very sad though of course....

100klm/h 200kl/m is still fast enough to kill drunk or not, i guess its all about education, and the individual in question. in this case a dick in a fast car with little sense, (which is typical analogy of 18/19/20yo not just in cars all vehicles hence why they changed the bike age in vic to 18yo. much better than the 17yo before and the 16 and 9months before.
