We just filled our car up with that 100ron stuff. half the tank had already optimax 98 and now has half of new 100 extreme.
(we have a 2002 liberty B4)
we put it in because in japan they have the 100ron and our car was detuned because we have only 98ron.

is this ok for our car?

should we use it in the car as we are supposed to have minium RON of 98. but the new stuff has ethanol in it will this effect the cars performance???

gave the car a bit of a boot but saw no performance gain, i thought we lost power. but that might because the driver wasnt driving that hard as she normaly does.

you would want to get a lot more kms out of it!!

i'm pretty sure the subaru site has info on this. i know for a fact that the 99/00 sti's cannot run on ethonal at all... i also heard some b4's can't someone may be able to clear this up.

99-00sti's and B4's cannot use E10 (10% enthonal)
I think E5 which is what this is running should be alright.

i already think 98RON is more than enough for my car, so i think i'll stay away from the 100RON

and with ethonal, we dont really know the long term effects on our cars

i didn't see any change in performance yet.

this is what subaru australia sent me when i emailed them:

he said that the car performs alot better with the 100ron fuel.

Just used it, gives me same mileage as unleaded 91RON (when the fuel light comes) at 575kms with Extreme 100RON, Not worth putting it in for EJ22..

Waste of money spending $119.9 a litre for 50 litres that doesn't improve mileage but may improve cleaness of the engine.
