That sound like a bit of a joke, it would roughly be around 15kw gain for a full exhaust eg. headers, highflow cat, twin system. Unless he got a tune as well i think hes full of sh1t...

Yep.. exhaust including eckie's, and a tune, LS1 edit is about 2,000 and the exhaust would be about 2,000

but its funny how LS1 fan boys think a $3000 exhaust will give better results than a $1200 with same headers but a customer rest

flash tunes are $1200-$1700 from what iv seen, for an LS1

50kw is a lot to gain just from an exhaust, I wonder if this guy had the dyno proof to back it up lol...

When you're dealing with 6 litres of motor the gains you get are a bit more... noticable

Exhaust and a reflash those gains are what youd expect, cost of 4500 would include a reflash at the same time - anywhere that can do them always advise getting it. Hard to argue why either.

$2500 for decent full system, $2000 for an edit probably a otr cai thrown in there as well.

That lot is a pretty standard first mod to do to an SS with 50kwatw being around the standard gain.

The SS's are pretty restricted from the factory.
